Jazz Quest results

The Jazz Quest competition is from schools throughout Canterbury and is hotly contested between schools.
We had a great time and the students all really enjoyed themselves.
The 2 junior jazz groups both won Bronze Awards –



Hanafi's band – Georgia, Solomon, Eddie and Matt













Van's band – Lia, Leo, Fergus, Itan, Fynn and Joey



The Senior Jazz band taken by Kevin won a Gold Award!
Nepeya, Sev, Shannagh, Rachael, Shadow, Isaac, Chris and Jonty.
Not only that….
Jonty won Most Outstanding Drummer
Chris won Best Original Composition.
And…
The senior band won Best Jazz Ensemble. This is the highest award and is taken from a large number of bands that competed over the whole weekend.
