Hagley School of Fashion was in the limelight this year with several of our garments featuring on the various news reports after the event. It was very exciting to have a winner , runner up and third place getter from with in the college and a past pupil taking out the young designer of the year award.
The results are as follows:

Ailish Roughan……Runner up Silver section

                            Margaret Hill……….Third place Steam punk.

Alannah Kwant …..Winner street wear award
Past Pupil Hannah Heslop ( Hannah Louise) Young designer Award
Hannah is in her 3rd year of a Bachelor of fashion at Otago.

Both Ailish and Margaret were finalists last year as well.
All participants are to be congratulated on the hours of dedicated hard work that they put into the designs, which are truly wonderful.
The work will be on display in the fashion room on Wednesday the 14th August 13 and again at our end of year show.
